HX Expeditions is extending its HX Greenland Promise to cover all sailings to the region in 2027.
Originally launched in January, the deal now applies to all Greenland sailings in 2026 and 2027, giving guests and trade partners greater confidence when planning travel, the cruise line said in a press release.
It allows guests to transfer to another HX voyage, receive an additional 20% Future Cruise Credit or get a full refund if a Greenland sailing in this timeframe is cancelled by HX, or even if a guest’s government advises against travel.
“Greenland is one of the most extraordinary destinations anywhere in the world, and 2027 is a fantastic time to experience it with HX,” said Gebhard Rainer, CEO of HX Expeditions.
“Guests can expect awe-inspiring landscapes, deep cultural connection and the confidence that comes from travelling with one of the most experienced expedition operators in the region. By extending the HX Greenland Promise to all Greenland sailings in 2027, we are giving travelers even more reassurance to book with confidence and discover this remarkable destination for themselves.”
The cruise line also announced the launch of a four-part YouTube series, “Kalaallit: Portraits of Greenland.” Its four episodes can be viewed .
The series shares different perspectives from Greenlandic voices, celebrating the destination’s culture, communities and identity.
“Greenland remains one of the world’s most extraordinary countries in the Arctic, yet it remains a travel destination many have yet to discover,” said Karin Strand, VP of expedition development for HX and Greenland product owner.
“We created Kalaallit: Portraits of Greenland to help change that in the most authentic way possible. Rather than telling Greenland’s story from the outside, we wanted Greenlanders to share their own personal perspectives, experiences and connections to their home, giving audiences a more human, honest and meaningful introduction to this remarkable destination.”
HX, alongside its charity arm, the HX Foundation, has supported community initiatives through its partnership with the Association of Greenlandic Children for the past seven years, including summer camps, initiatives for children experiencing difficult circumstances and educational development.
