AmaWaterways has appointed Quinby Dobbins as chief financial officer and Stefano Negro as vice president of newbuild and maintenance.
In a press release, the company said the leadership additions support its next phase of fleet growth and long-term operational scaling.
“These appointments underscore our continued focus and investment in the future of AmaWaterways,” said CEO Catherine Powell.
“Quinby and Stefano each bring deep expertise in their respective fields, and their leadership will play an important role as we continue strengthening our operations, expanding our fleet, and enhancing the guest experience.”
In her role as CFO, Dobbins will oversee the company’s financial strategy and capital allocation.
She has more than 25 years of global finance and transformation experience, most recently serving as SVP of corporate finance & treasury at Carnival Corporation, where she led major capital and refinancing initiatives.
“I’m excited to join AmaWaterways at such a dynamic moment in the company’s evolution. AmaWaterways has built a phenomenal brand rooted in exceptional experiences and genuine hospitality, and I look forward to supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy as it continues expanding its fleet and global presence,” noted Dobbins.
As for Negro, he will lead the company’s newbuild and maintenance strategy, advancing its fleet performance, sustainability initiatives and guest experience.
Trained as a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, he began his career with Fincantieri.
After that, he joined Carnival Corporation’s shipbuilding team, where he spent nearly a decade supporting new project development and shipbuilding initiatives across the company’s portfolio of brands.
“It’s incredibly inspiring to join a company so deeply committed to innovation and delivering elevated guest experiences,” said Negro.
“As AmaWaterways continues to evolve its fleet, I’m excited to bring innovative ideas and sustainable solutions to life, creating ships that feel even more immersive, experiential, and connected to the destinations they sail through.”
