Adora Magic City, China’s first domestically built large cruise ship, completed its 200th voyage on May 5, 2026, docking at the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal upon return.
The vessel commenced revenue service on January 1, 2024, and has since carried more than 700,000 passengers.
The Adora Magic City has operated primarily from its homeport of Shanghai, offering a schedule of itineraries to South Korea. Itineraries have consistently featured Jeju, Busan, and Incheon (Seoul), with voyages ranging from three-night getaways to six-night journeys, including special holiday sailings.
A seven-day, six-night itinerary is scheduled for October 1, 2026, calling at Jeju, Busan, and Yeosu.
The ship’s operational footprint is set to expand this summer with its first homeport operations from South China. From August 13 to September 16, 2026, the Adora Magic City will sail from the Shekou Cruise Home Port in Shenzhen on standard five-day, four-night and six-day, five-night international voyages to destinations in Vietnam, including Hue, Ha Long Bay, and Nha Trang, as well as Jeju.
A special nine-day, eight-night “Maritime Silk Road Discovery Voyage” is also planned for August 27, calling at Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Muara (Brunei), and Nha Trang.
Adora Cruises will also launch China’s first non-destination “cruise to nowhere” voyage aboard the ship on June 6, 2026. The three-day, two-night weekend sailing from Shanghai will focus entirely on onboard entertainment and experiences.
