Jordan Freese was appointed group sales and operations manager for North America at Hurtigruten.
This is the first time a fully dedicated resource will be allocated to group sales following the split from HX, the company said in a press release.
Freese joins the company from Incredible Adventure, where she was general manager.
“Jordan joining the Americas team adds a core strength to the team as she brings her tour operator and groups mindset to contribute to both sales and operations. Additionally, she has experience in sustainable and adventure travel, which is exactly what we focus on,” said Carly Biggart, Hurtigruten’s head of the Americas.
“The demand for groups is consistently growing, with Norway being an ideal destination, especially given Hurtigruten’s wide portfolio of not only cruises but also tours that we offer.”
Biggart added that Freese will strengthen the company’s B2B support, which has been its core focus for some time now, noting that the company is seeing great results because of that.
“I’ve admired Hurtigruten for its commitment to meaningful and responsible travel, and I’m excited to now be part of a team that’s redefining how people experience the world. With my extended background of working with travel operators and partners over the years, I believe I will really add value and help the company grow even further,” said Freese.
