Meyer Turku will build a new headquarters in the Blue Industry Park area near the shipyard, according to a press release.

The project is valued at approximately 40 million euros and forms part of the company’s investment program.

“This office building is a long-term strategic investment for us and a concrete way to modernize and further develop Meyer Turku,” said Casimir Lindholm, chief executive officer at Meyer Turku.

“The new headquarters will provide a workplace for nearly 700 of our employees, while freeing up additional space for core production activities.”

Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2026, with completion expected in early 2028.

The project comprises two office towers with a combined gross floor area of approximately 12,000 square meters.

Meyer Turku will be the main tenant in both towers.

The project will be designed and constructed by SRV, with real estate investment company Balder acting as investor, the company said.

The new headquarters is part of an approximately 200 million euro investment program launched at Meyer Turku.

The program aims to strengthen the shipyard’s competitiveness and create a foundation for the years ahead.

The investment program focuses on improving safety, streamlining production processes, reducing disruptions and enhancing material flows.

It also includes replacement and modernization investments to renew structures, equipment and infrastructure.
