MSC Cruises has unveiled new family entertainment options aboard its latest ship, the MSC World Asia.

Once it debuts in the Mediterranean in December 2026, the ship will sail seven-night itineraries to destinations including Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia for Rome, Naples and Valletta.

According to a statement, the ship is set to boast an expanded family entertainment offering alongside the already announced venues.

“As a family-owned company, MSC Cruises knows what it takes to keep the whole family happy on holiday, with tailored family entertainment activities and facilities for guests of all ages,” said MSC Cruises Vice President of Entertainment Steve Leatham.

“Onboard MSC World Asia, family entertainment will reach new heights – bigger, bolder and more innovative than ever. Featuring our widest range of programs yet, alongside immersive, interactive and personalized experiences for everyone from toddlers to teens, families can expect truly extraordinary moments at sea.”

At MSC Luna Park Arena, the entire floor will transform into an interactive arena for immersive gaming experiences, and the venue will also host three original game shows: Code Breakers, Labyrinth and Chart Toppers.

Next, the Clubhouse will feature a new popup concept, Extra Record Live, MasterChef at Sea Juniors and Out of Control, a competition against digitally assigned, timed obstacle challenges on the sports court.

The Harbour will offer open-air experiences such as the Adventure Trail rope course and the longest dry slide at sea, while younger guests will be able to enjoy a new playground, The Play Deck.

A refreshed evening program for teens will be led by Yuna, a new AI avatar hosting events including the Yuna K-Pop Party and Yuna Boogie Roller Party.

Doremiland, located on deck 19, will have two brand-new themed Lego rooms, one inspired by Asian landmarks and another dedicated to Formula 1.

Young guests can also look forward to a new Lego Parade, featuring seven mascots inspired by Lego characters.
