ECOS LNG has signed an agreement with BASS Software to deploy BASSnet Neo software for its Floating Storage Regasification Unit operations, according to a press release.
The contract was awarded following an evaluation process to replace ECOS’s legacy maintenance software.
“BASSnet Neo is the right choice to align with our broader digitalisation strategy and digital management tools harmonisation,” said Matteo Conci, base manager and designated person ashore at ECOS LNG.
“We are confident in BASSnet Neo’s technical robustness, scalability and capacity to support our FSRU’s operational excellence.”
ECOS will deploy BASSnet Neo 3.1 for its FSRU and office, including modules for maintenance, procurement, HSEQ, dry-docking and a business intelligence dashboard, supported by inventory and mobile apps.
BASS Software explained that the solution delivers advanced functionality to streamline processes and provide operational oversight.
The project will now move into the implementation phase, including data migration, training and change management.
“Enabling ECOS to modernise its FSRU operations with BASSnet Neo 3.1 is a significant milestone,” said Per Steinar Upsaker, chief executive officer and managing director at BASS Software.
“FSRUs are among the most technically demanding and highly regulated vessel types in the maritime industry.”
The partnership marks a step in ECOS’s digital strategy to strengthen operational control and compliance for its FSRU operations, according to the company.
