Silversea has opened general sales for its 2029 World Cruise, a 125-day voyage departing San Diego on January 5, 2029, according to a press release.
The voyage onboard the Silver Whisper will visit more than 60 destinations in 19 countries across the Pacific, spanning Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia, Australia, Asia and New Zealand.
“With 17 overnights, new ports of call and dozens of immersive experiences across the Pacific, our guests will enjoy iconic destinations alongside smaller, rarely visited ports,” said Bert Hernandez, president at Silversea.
The itinerary includes six signature events and one included overland experience, the company announced.
The voyage is divided into eight segments.
It begins with The Ancestral Isles from San Diego to Papeete.
This is followed by Way of the Wayfinder from Papeete to Auckland, The Wild & the Worldly from Auckland to Melbourne, Currents of Contrast from Melbourne to Benoa then onto Emerald Lands & Golden Coasts from Benoa to Manila.
It continues with Cerulean Shores & Sakura Skies from Manila to Tokyo, Spring at the Gates of Empire from Tokyo to Hong Kong, and then concludes with Across Temple Kingdoms from Hong Kong to Singapore on May 11, 2029.
Signature events include a private evening at Iolani Palace in Honolulu, a performance by the Tasmania Symphony Orchestra at Theatre Royal, a private island experience on Kalanggaman Island in the Philippines, an evening event in Tokyo inspired by Japanese imperial heritage and a seaside dinner at the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya.
