Ponant is offering flexible booking conditions during the month of April, according to a statement published on the company’s website.
As part of its “Serenity Policy,” the cruise line will allow guests to change or postpone their cruises with no penalty.
The condition coincides with the current conflict in the Middle East, which is currently putting pressure on airfare and could lead to flight disruptions in regions like Europe.
Ponant’s new policy is valid for all bookings made between April 1, 2026, and April 30, 2026, allowing passengers to modify their travel plans free of charge.
According to the company, the deposits paid at the time of booking remain firm, final and non-refundable.
Under the policy, such deposits may be transferred, including multiple times. Some conditions apply.
Requests must be submitted no later than 90 days prior to the departure date applicable to the original booking.
The new cruise must take place within the same calendar year as the initial departure or earlier, the company explained.
New bookings are also subject to availability and must have an equal or higher fare than the cruise initially booked.
The company also said that the deposit is transferable and may be assigned to a third party, as long as a series of conditions are met.
The “Serenity Policy” is valid for all brands of the Ponant Explorations Group, which includes Ponant, Paul Gauguin and Aqua Expeditions.
In 2026, the company is set to offer itineraries to a series of destinations around the world, including Europe, the Arctic, Australia, the South Pacific, the Great Lakes and more.
During the upcoming winter season, the group’s fleet is also scheduled to sail to Antarctica, South America and Africa, among other regions.
