StarCruises has presented its “Knows Hong Kong Best” itinerary, envisaged as a staycation and getaway experience for Hong Kong travelers.
The Star Voyager will be sailing from Hong Kong’s Ocean Terminal for a series of two-, three- and five-night Cruises to Okinawa in Japan, Vietnam and the coastal cities of Penghu and Keelung.
The two-night High Seas Cruise also departs every Friday night and returns Sunday in the afternoon, according to a statement.
“Hong Kong is a city with a unique rhythm, rich flavors and strong cultural identity. With StarCruises’ ‘Knows Hong Kong Best’, we bring these familiar elements onboard Star Voyager to create a cruise experience that feels comfortable and easy from the start. It’s about offering a holiday that already feels in tune with our guests, so they can simply relax and enjoy the journey,” said Michael Goh, president, StarCruises.
As part of the voyage’s culinary experience, guests can enjoy a Hong Kong Theme Night Market at Sea, featuring curry fish balls, “siu mai,” braised goose, egg tarts and herbal tea.
Drinks like Salted Plum Sprite and Herbal Cooling Water add a local twist, paired with a selection of Chinese and Southeast Asian dishes.
For entertainment, there is Cantopop Glow Night Party on the pool deck, a Lan Kwai Fong-inspired party at sea, The Golden Mic Showdown, as well as an onboard karaoke competition, among others.
Guests can also take part in retro-style variety games or attend open-air screenings of Hong Kong films.
The sailings also feature entertainment from the entire family, from a Red Carpet welcome on selected sailings to the Little Dreamers interactive program for children.
