Adora Cruises announced its partnership with China Foreign Culture Group Co., Ltd. and the Children’s Art Theater of the China Welfare Association from July 3 to August to launch the show “Adora Mountains and Seas: Fantasy Journey” on the Adora Magic City, and start the summer-themed sailing season.
The company said: “We are very pleased to be able to bring an immersive maritime cultural experience with the theme of ‘Classic of Mountains and Seas,’ an IP rich in Chinese cultural heritage, this summer, allowing guests of all ages to experience the charm of classic Chinese mythology in a relaxed and enjoyable holiday.”
“In the future, we will continue to explore the innovative model of ‘cruise + culture’, bring more excellent traditional culture to the sea and bring more family guests a sea vacation with both cultural connotation and childlike interaction,” Adora added.
The show is inspired by the classic Chinese myth “Classic of Mountains and Seas”, and this season will present a series of experiences integrating stage performances, video exhibitions and interactive elements.
In addition, the ship will exhibit the documentary “Mountains and Seas,” produced by China Central Radio and Television.
The company said in a press release that guests can also participate in the “Little Navigator” activity to learn about nautical culture through entertainment.
From July 3 to August 13, the Adora Magic City will launch five-day and six-day international cruise routes with Shanghai as its homeport, taking guests to Jeju, Busan and Yeosu.
From August 13 to September 16, the ship will depart from the home port of Shenzhen International Cruise and start international cruise voyages, including regular five-day and six-day routes, visiting destinations such as Hue (Zhenmei), Ha Long Bay, Nha Trang (Cam Ranh) and Jeju in South Korea.
On August 27, it will also launch a special nine-day route, as well as medium- and long-distance routes, to visit Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; Mala in Brunei; and Nha Trang, Vietnam.
