Explora Journeys will become the title partner of the Switzerland SailGP Team, the company announced at a press conference in Miami Beach.
According to the brand’s president, Anna Nash, the partnership will highlight Explora’s European roots and values while increasing the company’s exposure in different parts of the world.
As part of the deal, the Swiss team will compete as the Explora Journeys Swiss SailGP Team in a series of global cities.
Nash highlighted the brand’s exposure in the Rolex SailGP Championship events in ports like New York, Halifax, Southampton and Rio de Janeiro.
The deal includes prominent branding for Explora on the team’s F50 catamaran, as well as integrated global marketing campaigns.
Explora and the Switzerland SailGP Team will also partner for a premium hospitality program that is said to deliver privileged access and curated experiences during the competition.
Explora stated that the partnership with the team brings together “elite high-speed racing with Swiss precision, technical innovation, and a deep respect for the ocean.”
The official debut of the Explora Journeys Swiss SailGP Team will take place at the Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix in May 2026, according to a press release.
With two ships currently in service, Explora is getting ready to welcome the Explora III to its fleet in early August.
According to Nash, the ship will offer an optimized design, which will see the addition of a redesigned wellness center and more dining venues.
The company is also debuting in new destinations in the near future, including Alaska, South America and Northern Africa.
In addition to its first three ships, Explora is adding two extra vessels to its fleet in 2027, along with a sixth ship in 2028.
