Saga Cruises has announced that it will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2027 with bespoke new itineraries for the Spirit of Discovery and Spirit of Adventure.

The company said in a blog post that both sailings will be offered in May 2027 and will feature onboard events and entertainment to mark the anniversary of the first ship owned by Saga, the Saga Rose, which sailed from Dover in 1997.

The Spirit of Discovery | The British Isles

The Spirit of Discovery will set sail from Dover on May 13, 2027, on a cruise to commemorate the Saga Rose sailing from the same port in 1997, as well as the Spirit of Discovery’s maiden voyage in 2019.

The ship will cruise along the East Coast of England to Newhaven, Scotland. Guests can visit the capital, Edinburgh, and the National Museum of Scotland.

The Spirit of Adventure | Croatia and the Mediterranean

The Spirit of Adventure will head to Malaga and Southern Spain, and guests will call at the Grand Harbor of Valletta in Malta and sail across the Adriatic Sea to Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, including Split and Dubrovnik.

The ship will then head to Italy’s Puglia coast. Other destination highlights include:
