Michael Marino has been appointed to the newly created role of chief marketing and growth officer at Margaritaville at Sea.

In a press release, the company said Marino will spearhead its growth strategy during a period of rapid expansion, leading trade partnerships and distribution strategy, along with charter and group sales, direct marketing and contact center operations.

“I’m incredibly excited to welcome Michael to Margaritaville at Sea as we embark on our most significant growth phase to date with the launch of Beachcomber in January 2027,” said Margaritaville CEO Christopher Ivy.

“His deep expertise in demand generation and longstanding commitment to the travel advisor community will be instrumental as we strengthen our trade partnerships and scale our commercial strategy across all channels. His experience leading high-performing teams at some of the industry’s most recognized brands makes him an ideal fit.”

Marino holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia.

He most recently served as senior vice president at Virgin Voyages, where he was a member of the Senior Operating Committee and led digital, loyalty and casino functions, overseeing direct-to-consumer demand generation and pre-cruise revenue strategy.

His previous roles include chief commercial officer at Accel Entertainment, chief experience officer at Caesars Entertainment, while earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Bain & Company.
