Adora Cruises’ Adora Magic City is scheduled to operate international sailings from Shenzhen as its homeport during this summer season for the first time.

In a press release, the company said it expects this deployment to further deepen its presence in the Greater Bay Area (Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao) and inject new momentum into the development of Shenzhen’s cruise market.

“We are delighted to bring Adora Magic City to Shenzhen this summer to meet the diverse travel demands of consumers in South China during the vacation season,” said Adora Cruises.

“In the future, we will continue to deepen our presence in the Greater Bay Area, further develop the innovative ‘cruise + culture’ model, and promote the integration and dissemination of Chinese culture and cruise culture, allowing more consumers to enjoy high-quality, culturally enriched sea vacations close to home.”

According to the plan, the Adora Magic City will operate multiple international cruise itineraries from the Shenzhen International Cruise Port between August 13 and September 16.

These will include regular five-day/four-night and six-day/five-night sailings visiting destinations such as Hue (Chan May), Ha Long Bay, Nha Trang (Cam Ranh) in Vietnam and Jeju in South Korea.

In addition, a special nine-day/eight-night itinerary titled the “Maritime Silk Road Discovery Journey” will sail on August 27.

The itinerary will call at Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, Muara in Brunei and Nha Trang (Cam Ranh) in Vietnam.

The Adora Magic City recently embarked on the inaugural voyage of the “Sea Film Festival” themed sailing season set to run on all three Adora ships until late June this year.
