Michael Eder has been appointed chief executive officer of MXP, effective July 1, 2026.
He brings over two decades of experience in IT/OT automation, software development and digital transformation, MXP said in a press release.
“I am excited to join MXP at such a pivotal moment,” said Eder. “With its strong MXP Enterprise Platform and market leader position in the cruise industry, MXP is ideally positioned. I look forward to contributing my experience and working closely with the team and create value for our customers.”
Most recently, Eder served as managing director of voestalpine High Performance Metals Digital Solutions and global chief digital officer of the High Performance Metals Division.
Before that, he spent 10 years with McKinsey & Company.
Hannes Lindthaler, founder of MarineXchange, said that clients will benefit from Eder’s consulting and senior management background as they prepare for the new age of AI, noting that he himself will focus on innovation and work even more closely with customers.
