The AIDAprima will offer new cruises from Kiel, Gran Canaria and Tenerife in fall and winter of 2026-27, the company said in a press release.

The ship was previously meant to sail a winter season in the Middle East, but this was cancelled in mid-March due to the security situation in the region.

With Kiel as its central winter homeport, the AIDAprima will offer four- to 11-day cruises, which can also be combined for longer voyages.

After setting sail from Hamburg to the Canaries, the season will start with seven-day cruises in October and November, combining the Canaries with the Portuguese island of Madeira or Agadir in Morocco.

The ship will be based in the Canaries until November 28, 2026, when it will reposition to Kiel.

On December 19, 2026, the ship will depart from Kiel for a short cruise to pre-Christmas Scandinavia, followed by a Christmas holiday cruise in the Baltic Sea, calling at Riga, Tallinn and Helsinki.

The New Year’s cruise will take passengers to Scandinavia, with stops in Oslo, Gothenburg and Copenhagen, among other ports, where the ship will celebrate the 2026-27 New Year.

This is followed by the 24-day “Grand Winter Break Canary Islands from Kiel” sailing in January 2027, allowing guests to visit the Canary Islands without flying from Germany.

In February and March 2027, the focus will be on cruises to the Norwegian fjords, with further cruises taking passengers to what AIDA describes as classic destinations in the Baltic Sea.

A highlight will be a nine-day cruise which will visit Oslo during the Holmenkollen Ski Festival, departing on March 7, 2027.

Until the end of April 2027, the AIDAprima will operate cruises to Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea, departing from and returning to Kiel.

After this, the ship will relocate to Hamburg, with the final sailing of the season departing on May 9, 2027.
