The new Ultimate Family Treehouse Suite onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Hero of the Seas will have fares of up to $105,878 per person for special seven-night sailings.
For the ship’s Christmas sailing, the three-story stateroom was available for booking for a total of $211,756 plus taxes and fees. The amount is based on double occupancy.
Sailing from PortMiami on Dec. 23, the seven-night cruise includes visits to San Juan in Puerto Rico, Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas and Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.
For a more regular weeklong cruise during the 2027-28 winter season, the suite can be booked for around $150,000 for two people.
One example is the sailing scheduled for Mar. 18, 2028, which has a price of $70,904 per person, plus taxes and fees, based on double occupancy.
Sailing from Miami, the seven-night cruise visits Roatan in Honduras, Cozumel in Mexico and Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.
A quick search on Royal Caribbean’s website showed Cruise Industry News that the suite was sold out on most of the ship’s initial itineraries just hours after bookings opened for members of the Crown & Anchor Society, the company’s loyalty program.
Revealed earlier this week, the Ultimate Family Treehouse Suite is highlighted by a unique design, in addition to a wide range of premium features.
Located on one of the highest decks of the Hero of the Seas, the three-story stateroom can accommodate up to 12 passengers and offers over 4,100 square feet of space.
Amenities include four full bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, a private game room, a two-deck teen room and a rooftop terrace.
The Treehouse Suite also offers a private whirlpool, as well as scenic views of the ocean and Hero’s Chill Island neighborhood.
