Bodrum Cruise Port officially inaugurated its 2026 cruise season April 3 with the arrival of the Astoria Grande carrying 909 passengers and 445 crew members.

The port is expected to host 119 cruise calls and welcome approximately 140,000 cruise passengers in 2026, according to the company.

“Bodrum has reached a new milestone in its international positioning,” said Aziz Güngör, Global Ports Holding regional director, East Med.

“Our port is evolving from a port of call into a sought-after destination for the world’s leading cruise lines. The increasing number of maiden calls and growing interest from the luxury segment underline Bodrum’s rising global appeal.”

Ferry connections between Bodrum and the Greek Islands are projected to serve a further 150,000 passengers, bringing total passenger traffic close to 290,000 this year.

The season highlights Bodrum’s rising profile with 19 ships scheduled to make their inaugural calls.

The port’s growing appeal to high-end passengers is reinforced by a distinguished lineup of cruise lines, including multiple calls from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Four Seasons Yachts, Ponant and Emerald Cruises.

Beyond the luxury segment, the port continues to serve as a key destination for major cruise operators.

The season will feature a strong presence from Aroya Cruises with 16 scheduled calls, while Marella Cruises remains a valued partner with 13 visits.

Additional highlights include the arrival of Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady and Bodrum’s inclusion in AIDA Cruises’ itineraries with the AIDAblu for the first time.
