Carnival Cruise Line is adjusting the itinerary of two cruises from its 2027 Mediterranean season onboard the Carnival Miracle.
According to a statement sent to guests, the Oct. 16 and Oct. 26, 2027, sailings will replace one of their ports of call in the Greek Islands.
Instead of visiting Santorini, the ship will now sail to the port of Souda Bay, from which guests can visit the city of Chania in Crete.
Due to the change, port times for the visit to Souda Bay and the Turkish port of Kusadasi have been adjusted.
The company added that, where applicable, pre-purchased Carnival shore excursions will be automatically adjusted based on these changes.
Refunds for cancelled tours in Santorini will be issued to their original form of payment, Carnival continued.
Calling it a “slight itinerary adjustment,” Carnival did not provide a reason for the changes, which were communicated to guests in late March 2026.
Sailing roundtrip from the port of Civitavecchia, Italy, the Carnival Miracle is set to offer cruises to Greece, Italy and Turkey on Oct. 10 and Oct. 26, 2027.
In addition to the new stop in Souda Bay, the ten-night itineraries feature visits to Mykonos, Piraeus, Katakolon, Naples and Kusadasi.
After spending the 2026-27 winter season sailing from Galveston, the Miracle is scheduled to reposition to Europe for summer cruises in 2027.
Starting in May, the Spirit-class ship offers eight- to 12-night itineraries to the British Isles, the Baltic and Western Europe departing from Dover in the United Kingdom.
In September, the vessel heads south for cruises in both the Western and Eastern Mediterranean that sail from Civitavecchia.
The Carnival Miracle is then scheduled to return to North America in mid-November for cruises to the Caribbean and the Bahamas sailing from Baltimore.
