The Adora Mediterranea has set sail from the Port of Xiamen, launching a six-day, five-night international cruise itinerary to Manila and Boracay in the Philippines.

This is Adora’s third consecutive year of operation from Xiamen as its homeport as it continues to deepen its presence along China’s southeastern coast, the cruise line said in a statement.

“Xiamen is a key strategic hub for us in the southern market. We are committed to creating more diverse, high-quality cruise vacation experiences for guests in this region,” said Adora.

“In the future, we will continue to work with partners to optimize and innovate our offerings, deepen the ‘cruise + culture’ development model and further contribute to the high-quality development of the cruise economy in Xiamen and surrounding areas.”

The Adora Mediterranea will embark on more than ten international voyages from Xiamen from now until April 30, as well as in the second half of the year.

In addition to five-day, four-night and six-day, five-night itineraries, a nine-day, eight-night cruise will launch on April 10, taking guests to Manila and Coron in the Philippines, as well as Hue and Da Nang, known as “Oriental Hawaii,” in Vietnam.

On April 18, the ship will embark on a 13-day, 12-night “Maritime Silk Road Discovery Journey.”

This sailing will take guests for an in-depth cultural exploration through five Southeast Asian countries: Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.
