Heineken has added new brands to its cruise portfolio to elevate onboard relevance and choice for guests.
Brands have been selected to match itineraries and passenger profiles, according to a press release.
The destination-driven portfolio approach built around regional relevance and local heritage is expected to enable cruise lines to offer more personalized beverage experiences to guests.
“Cruise operators are navigating increasingly complex guest expectations across global itineraries. Our approach simplifies portfolio decisions while giving operators the freedom to tailor their offer of Heineken’s extensive portfolio, without compromising consistency or quality,” said Christian Klimpke, global account manager cruises, Heineken Global Duty Free.
“At the same time, we are focused on helping our cruise partners drive additional revenue by enhancing their beverage propositions and increasing the appeal and sales of onboard beverage packages.”
New brands exemplifying regional focus include Birra Moretti in European markets and Dos Equis in the Americas, as well as Kingfisher and Ichnusa.
Furthermore, the company is expanding its One-Way Keg and Draught offerings to include European brands including Paulaner and Birra Moretti.
Heineken also offers ongoing crew training, aimed at reinforcing beer quality onboard.
