On March 29, the Adora Magic City set sail from Shanghai on a five-day, four-night themed cruise to Jeju Island and Busan, South Korea.

This is the inaugural voyage of the “Sea Film Festival” themed sailing season set to run on all three Adora ships until late June this year.

Actors Hou Yong and Liu Zhibing will be onboard during this voyage, engaging guests in conversations, and immersive film-themed interactive performances inspired by Chinese classics will also be offered, Adora said in a press release.

“Films and classic movie songs carry the shared emotions and cultural memories of the public,” said Adora.

“We hope that through the innovative fusion of ‘cruise + cinema,’ guests can experience the unique charm of film culture in a more vivid and diverse way during a pleasant spring holiday at sea, gaining a vacation experience that combines cultural depth and quality.”

The cruise line said over a hundred films have been selected for screening in onboard theaters, paired with a movie song medley show available aboard the Adora Magic City and Adora Mediterranea.

Furthermore, the Adora Magic City will also host a “Film Red Carpet Moment” event, where guests can dress up according to themes from their favorite movies and walk the red carpet for a photo.

The Adora Mediterranea will also host a “Light and Shadow Garden Party,” where guests will be able to relive on-screen moments through interactive experiences.
