Kazlauskas along with Mark Kansley, chief experience officer, and Kiran Smith, chief marketing officer (pictured above, middle), cited the dining, entertainment and service aboard the fleet, including the Haven experience, speaking to the premium family market.
Being in the process of refreshing the NCL brand, Kazlauskas underscored the need to communicate the brand to the market, featuring freedom and flexibility going back to its roots.
He said he is doubling down on revenue management while focusing on the guest experience.
The new Luna was christened on Friday in Miami is on a series of preview cruises before it settles into a rotation of week-long Western Caribbean sailings from PortMiami.
The executive team also highlighted the updates and expansion at Great Stirrup Cay, including the double ship pier.
They also noted the island would have a six- acre water park with 19 water slides. The park will also boast a 800 -foot dynamic river. NCL claims to have the largest private island of any cruise line to-date.
