Celestyal Cruises cancelled three additional cruises that were set to take place in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean in early April.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, two sailings onboard the Celestyal Journey and one onboard the Celestyal Discovery will no longer go ahead.
The vessels are currently docked in the Middle East, waiting to start repositioning voyages back to Europe.
“Due to the current situation, Celestyal has delayed the repositioning of both the Celestyal Discovery and the Celestyal Journey ahead of the start of their Mediterranean program,” the company said.
As a result, Celestyal cancelled the cruise that was set to take place onboard the Discovery on April 6, 2026, and two itineraries that were scheduled for the Celestyal Journey on April 4, 2026.
Sailing from the Greek port of Lavrion, the Celestyal Discovery was scheduled to offer a short cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkey.
The four-night itinerary included visits to Mykonos, Kusadasi, Patmos, Rhodes, Heraklion and Santorini.
The Celestyal Journey was set to depart from Piraeus for a weeklong cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean and the Adriatic.
Sailing to Greece, Montenegro, Croatia and Italy, the itinerary included visits to Kotor, Dubrovnik, Bari, Corfu, Argostoli and Katakolon.
Passengers were also able to board the ship for a two-week sailing that featured additional stops in Greece and Turkey, including Mykonos, Milos, Santorini, Agios Nikolaos, Rhodes and Kusadasi.
Celestyal said that guests booked on these departures will be offered the choice of a full refund or a future cruise credit to use against a future sailing.
These passengers are asked to contact their original travel provider to discuss the available options and next steps, the company added.
“We continue to monitor developments closely and remain focused on resuming our planned program as soon as possible,” Celestyal said.
