Hurtigruten has appointed Ellie Webb to the newly created role of senior sales manager for UK and emerging markets at Hurtigruten.

Webb is set to join the business in late June, reporting to the recently appointed sales director Matthew Stuart, the company said in a press release.

Working with travel partners, Webb will focus on driving growth, strengthening strategic relationships and developing the existing team.

“We’re delighted to welcome Ellie to the team as we continue to build momentum across the UK and emerging markets,” said Hayley Moore, VP sales and marketing, UK and emerging markets at Hurtigruten.

“Her depth of experience across both cruise and FMCG, combined with her strong commercial focus and passion for partnership, makes her a brilliant fit for Hurtigruten. Ellie’s appointment reflects our continued investment in the trade, and she will play an important role in expanding our reach and supporting our partners as we continue to grow.”

Webb brings more than 20 years of sales experience, joining the company from Carnival Corporation, where she spent ten years working across P&O Cruises, Cunard and Princess.

Most recently, she held the role of sales manager for the UK at Princess.

“I’ve always admired what Hurtigruten stands for, particularly its commitment to supporting local communities and its genuine care for people, nature and livelihoods,” said Webb.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining a brand that is widely recognized for delivering iconic experiences in one of the most beautiful regions of the world for over 130 years.”
