Ambassador Cruise Line launched its 2028-29 season on March 12, 2026.
According to a press release, this marks the earliest season launch since the Ambience’s inaugural sailing in 2022.
There will be 35 sailings plus four Christmas Party dates aboard the Ambience and 39 itineraries aboard the Ambition.
UK, Mediterranean, Nordics, Americas and Caribbean itineraries ranging from one to 42 nights will sail from April 23, 2028, through March 29, 2029.
The new season will also introduce a number of new ports of call.
These include Akrafjorden in Norway, offering guests the opportunity for scenic cruising through fjord landscapes; Motril on Spain’s southern coast, providing access to Granada and Andalusia; and Marseille, the cultural gateway to southern France.
Christmas, New Year and Shorter Sailings
The 15-night Christmas Sun Escape to Spain & Portugal aboard the Ambition departs London Tilbury on December 21, 2028, and calls at Vigo for Santiago de Compostela, Leixoes for Porto, Alicante and Almeria with Christmas Day at sea and New Year’s Eve in Gibraltar.
The Christmas Sunshine in Spain, Portugal and the Canaries aboard the Ambience sets sail on December 22, 2028, for 15 nights and takes in Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria, with Christmas Day in Vigo and a viewing of the famous Funchal fireworks at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The season will also feature a range of shorter sailings lasting from one to four nights, taking in the British Isles and Northern Europe, alongside a selection of themed getaways.
Christmas Market cruises and Taster sailings
The Ambience will host Christmas Party events across four days in 2028 at Ambassador’s home port of London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury.
These events on December 2, 8, 9, and 16, 2028 will feature a five-course lunch or dinner, an onboard show and, for dinner guests, an overnight stay with breakfast served the following morning.
Destination Experiences
Destination Experiences allow guests to fully discover the culture, history and natural beauty of the places they visit, the company said.
These experiences include scenic rail journeys, immersive cultural excursions and iconic landmarks.
Highlights in 2028-29 include ports of call to Reykjavik in Iceland, where guests can explore the Golden Circle; Naples, offering guests the opportunity to visit Herculaneum; and Cadiz, where travelers can experience an authentic flamenco performance.
2028-29 Offers
Guests booking between March 12 and June 30, 2026, are eligible for “Marveless” early booking incentives, including:
Groups of 15 guests or more can get a 5% discount on selected sailings.
For groups of 25 adult guests, Ambassador will offer one additional free place (26th place), as well as two free places for groups of 50 adult guests (51st and 52nd places).
Group bookings also get a special welcome cocktail party and preferential group dining arrangements.
Ambassador Guarantee
Guests booking their first itinerary of four nights or more benefit from the Ambassador Guarantee on its range of no-fly cruises.
If the guest is not satisfied with the cruise, Ambassador will cover the costs of return transport from the next available port to the point of embarkation and issue a full refund for the cruise fare paid.
