Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has unveiled the first renderings of its newest Super Ships debuting in 2027, the Audrey and Marlene, in a press release.

“One-of-a-kind design has always been central to the Uniworld experience. With the S.S. Audrey and S.S. Marlene, we’re celebrating two women whose style defined an era,” said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld.

“These ships bring their spirit to life through thoughtful details and spaces created to deepen our guests’ connection to the destinations along the journey, and we’re excited to share a sneak peek inside.”

The 154-guest ships will debut next year with another Super Ship, the São Rafael, as well as the Aqua Blue, forming part of what the company called its largest fleet expansion to date.

Audrey

The S.S. Audrey will sail on the Rhine, Main and Moselle rivers starting on April 16, 2027, with its inaugural departure on the “Remarkable Rhine & Historic Holland” itinerary.

Throughout the season, the ship will sail a mix of existing itineraries alongside two new journeys debuting in 2027: “Paris, Prague & Germany’s Hidden Gems” and “Scenic Rhine, Paris & the Swiss Alps.”

Inside, the design is inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s timeless style and mid-20th-century Europe, incorporating what the company describes as a sophisticated modern design.

The ship features a palette of greens, golds and blues, complemented by vibrant accents, geometric patterns and artistic tributes to the iconic actress.

Like the Emilie, her sister ship debuting this year, the Audrey will feature a layout which Uniwrold says is designed to enhance the onboard experience.

This includes an aft bar lounge, a bookable private dining room for exclusive culinary moments and the ability to combine adjacent suites to create two-bedroom accommodations for families or groups traveling together.

Marlene

The S.S. Marlene will begin sailing the Danube on March 27, 2027, with its inaugural departure on the “Tulips & Windmill” itinerary.

It will also sail through the waterways of Central Europe on other classic itineraries such as “Enchanting Danube” and “Delightful Danube,” offering a new way to experience the region’s historic cities and cultural landmarks.

The interior design pays tribute to the timeless beauty of German-born actress and singer Marlene Dietrich, reflecting her bold aesthetic, blending warm tan and gold tones with dramatic accents of pink, red and blue throughout select spaces.

The ship will feature Uniworld amenities including a restaurant, lounge, private dining room, spa and fitness center, the company said.
