AIDA Cruises will not offer any cruises in the Middle East during the winter of 2026/27 as the situation in the region remains uncertain and cannot be reliably predicted for the foreseeable future, the company said in a press release.

Consequently, the planned repositioning cruises of AIDAprima around Africa have also been cancelled.

The company plans to immediately inform all guests already booked on AIDAprima who are affected by the itinerary adjustment for winter 2026/27, as well as travel agency partners, of the change.

Guests have been invited to rebook to another AIDA cruise by May 10, 2026, with €200 onboard credit per cabin for double occupancy (€100 for single occupancy).

The company added that AIDAprima’s new program for winter 2026-27 will be bookable from mid-April.

The company recently announced that it would return to the Middle East in winter 2027-28, with itineraries operated by the AIDAperla.
