The Silver Spirit will get a series of upgrades during its upcoming drydock, which is set to take place between mid-March and early May.
According to a press release, the 2009-built vessel will see major enhancements, including new dining venues, reimagined public areas and upgraded staterooms.
Silversea said that the refurbishment will be similar to the one that took place onboard the Silver Muse in 2025 and will establish consistency across Silversea’s Muse‑Class ships while elevating guest comfort.
Among the new features coming to the ship is the brand’s S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) culinary program, which the company said will allow guests to delve deeper into each destination through regionally inspired culinary experiences.
“With each ship’s revitalization, we are thoughtfully reshaping the future of our onboard experience to introduce new concepts, expand our guest favorites, and continue elevating the way our guests experience the world,” said Bert Hernandez, president, Silversea.
“Silver Spirit’s transformation reflects our dedication to creating richer journeys for our guests – giving them more space, more comfort, and a deeper sense of immersion onboard and across every destination,” he added.
According to Silversea, the Spirit will now offer culinary immersion through its S.A.L.T. program, which is said to pair local culture and flavor with the onboard experience.
New venues include S.A.L.T. Kitchen, offering destination-inspired menus, and S.A.L.T. Bar featuring regional spirits and custom cocktails.
The ship will also offer a S.A.L.T. Lab, where guests can deepen cake place on hands‑on cooking classes focused on regional tastes and traditions.
Other updates to public areas include the revitalization of the Venetian Lounge, which will undergo a full refresh, including new drapery, a carpet upgrade, banquette reupholstery and additional enhancements.
The lounge will feature a new LED wall to enhance entertainment experiences, while the pool deck also will undergo a revitalization.
New Medallion Suites will also be introduced, giving guests a new accommodation option that includes a private veranda, a bathroom with a standard vanity, bathtub and walk-in shower, as well as a secluded bedroom area with a king-size bed.
Following the work, the Silver Spirit is set to resume service in May 2026 for a summer season in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
