HX Expeditions has announced a major expansion of its travel advisor program for 2026.

In a press release, the company said that this includes doubling its Americas support team, launching its 10-city North American roadshow and rolling out a new booking platform.

“The travel advisor community is absolutely central to our continued growth. In 2026, we’re not just adding programs, we’re raising the bar on how we support the trade,” said Steve Smotrys, managing director and SVP commercial, Americas at HX Expeditions.

“From smarter technology to deeper in-market engagement, every initiative is designed to help advisors sell our HX expeditions with greater confidence and stronger results. The 31 percent growth we delivered in 2025, including a 57 percent increase in advisor bookings, reinforces that when we invest in our partners, the returns follow.”

The company will host what it says will be its largest-ever North American roadshow in 2026, expanding to ten cities across the U.S. and Canada:

 

Each event will feature immersive destination storytelling, product updates, and in-depth sales insights, including presentations from HX Expedition Ambassador Alex McNeil, who has completed nearly 200 expedition voyages worldwide.

Alongside gaining insights and practical tools, advisors will have the opportunity to win one of two expedition trips for two to Alaska.

Furthermore, the company has doubled the size of its Americas Guest Excellence (GX) team since the start of the year.

Comprising trained Expedition Specialists, this team supports advisors and guests throughout the booking and pre-departure journey with itinerary planning, reservation management and expedition preparation.

At the start of 2026, HX introduced a new booking platform, Seaware Touch, through an expanded partnership with Versonix.

According to the press release, this platform centralizes inventory, pricing, and distribution across all sales channels, providing advisors with real-time availability and enhanced self-service capabilities.

A new Seaware Touch Certification is also available within its Agent Portal training hub to support the adoption of the upgraded booking platform.

Finally, the company shared that it has partnered with Rallio, a marketing automation platform, which enables travel advisors to promote HX across their digital channels at no additional cost.
