Celebrity Cruises opened bookings for more than 50 Galápagos expeditions aboard the Celebrity Flora in 2028, the company announced in a press release.
The 100-passenger vessel will offer seven-, 10-, 11- and 16 night all-inclusive itineraries exploring the archipelago.
Extended experiences include opportunities to explore Quito, Ecuador, as well as Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu in Peru.
“The Galápagos is one of the most extraordinary places on Earth, and we are privileged to offer our guests an elevated and intimate way to explore the region on the award-winning Celebrity Flora,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.
Itineraries are led by Galápagos National Park expert naturalists and include activities such as snorkeling with sea lions, kayaking with sea turtles and encounters with giant tortoises.
The Celebrity Flora was designed specifically for sailing in the Galápagos and features all-inclusive accommodations, elevated culinary offerings and experiences including glamping under the stars.
In partnership with Galápagos National Park, Celebrity Cruises’ Rewilding Galápagos initiative invites guests to plant seedlings in Scalesia reforestation areas.
To date, guests have helped restore more than 86 acres. The initiative will reach 100,000 trees planted in 2028.
The Hernán Carrión Nursery, sponsored by the Celebrity Cruises Galápagos Fund, grows all native plants used for reforestation efforts in the Galápagos.
Established in 2005, the fund has supported local conservation efforts through ecosystem restoration and local community projects.
