Given the current situation in the Middle East, Celestyal Cruises has announced it has cancelled two Iconic Aegean sailings operated by the Celestyal Discovery.

The trips were scheduled to sail on March 20 (three nights) and March 23 (four nights).

In a statement, the company said it is still in the process of finalizing operational arrangements for the ship’s repositioning to the Mediterranean ahead of the summer season.

All guests booked on these departures will be offered the option of a full refund or a future cruise credit, and they can contact their original travel provider to discuss the available options.

The company also issued an update regarding guests aboard the Celestyal Discovery and the Celestyal Journey, which are currently in the Middle East.

All guests have disembarked the Celestyal Discovery in Dubai, while the last remaining guests on the Celestyal Journey, currently alongside in Doha, Qatar, are expected to disembark over the next 24 hours the company remarked.

Both vessels are fully operational and ready to sail, and the company expects their departure from the region to take place once this is greenlighted by relevant authorities.

Celestyal thanked its guests and partners for their understanding, noting that it continues to follow developments and remain focused on resuming its planned program as soon as possible.
