Neil Harding will step back from his positions as non-executive director and non-executive president at Harding+, the company announced on March 4.

Harding founded Harding+ and has worked with the holding board for many years, initially as owner and founder and more recently in non-executive roles.

“What has always mattered most to me is the people within this business – supporting them, developing them and helping them realize their full potential,” Harding said. “I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to continuing to support the business in this next chapter.”

Chris Matthews, chief executive officer of Harding+, said Harding provided support, guidance and vision over many years.

“I have greatly valued his insights throughout our transformation, as well as his role as a trusted sounding board as we shape our future strategy,” Matthews said. “Harding+ will proudly continue under the Harding name, building on the strong foundations he established.”

Founded as a ship’s chandlery in 1930, Harding+ entered the cruise retail space in 1986.
