Fincantieri has delivered Norwegian Luna to Norwegian Cruise Line at its Marghera shipyard in Venice, marking the second vessel in the expanded Prima Plus Class the Italian yard is building for the brand.

The handover ceremony was attended by Biagio Mazzotta, Chairman of Fincantieri, and Luigi Matarazzo, General Manager of the Fincantieri Merchant Ships Division.

Representing Norwegian Cruise Line and parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) were Marc Kazlauskas, NCL President; Patrik Dahlgren, NCLH Executive Vice President, Chief Vessel Operations and Newbuild Officer; and Daniel S. Farkas, NCLH Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

Like her sister ship Norwegian Aqua, delivered in 2025, Norwegian Luna measures 156,000 gross tons, spans 321 meters in length, and offers more than 3,550 berths, making her 10% larger than the original Prima-class vessels, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva.

The delivery follows approximately 3,000 workers, Fincantieri employees and partner companies, completing the vessel over recent months.
