Ryobi Group’s R Yacht has selected cruisePAL’s reservation system (CRS) and ship management system (SMS) for its operations.

The company added that its team visited R Yacht in Japan, where it conducted demos.

In addition to a web-based reservation system that is said to simplify booking processes, R Yacht will also use the cruisePAL SMS to manage onboard hotel operations.

“By utilizing both cruisePAL CRS and SMS, R Yacht gains a truly 360˚ view of their customers, enabling them to easily track customer behaviors, manage operations and provide an outstanding level of service,” noted cruisePAL.

IssuTrax Lite, which is a hotel maintenance and cruise guest service automation tool, will also be used by R Yacht.

According to cruisePAL’s website, IssuTrax connects staff, locations, and resources within a centralized system.

This enables real-time collaboration, allowing creation, tracking and management of requests, such as guest service orders, maintenance tasks, safety issues, environmental concerns and outside vendor work.

R Yacht’s first ship yacht-style cruise ship, the Sefu, is currently being built in Portugal and is scheduled for delivery in 2027.
