On March 2, the Celebrity Solstice set sail from Singapore, where it was undergoing upgrades since mid-January.
The Celebrity Cruises vessel now features eight new experiences, including four brand-new spaces, according to a statement from the company.
“Celebrity Solstice launched our Solstice Series ships and defined a generation of Celebrity Cruises travel. This reimagination honors that heritage while setting a new standard for what an elevated vacation can be,” said Celebrity President Laura Hodges Bethge.
“Every new experience was designed around how our guests want to spend their time, backed by the unmatched hospitality that defines every Celebrity Cruises sailing.”
All existing staterooms have been updated, and 54 were added, bringing the ship to a total of 1,479 cabins.
Additionally, the vessel has four new stateroom categories: the Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, two Panoramic Ocean View Suite categories, and the Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View.
Guests of The Retreat, the Solstice’s exclusive suite-class, will find a brand-new sundeck with an oversized hot tub, dedicated outdoor seating, and a redesigned private lounge.
AquaClass staterooms, the ship’s wellness-focused accommodations, have been refreshed with spa-inspired amenities including massaging shower heads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, premium robes and slippers, and a pillow menu.
Two new restaurants were added as part of the upgrade: Trattoria Rossa, an Italian restaurant serving Roman and Southern Italian cuisine, and Fine Cut Steakhouse, offering 30-day dry-aged steaks and fresh seafood.
Furthermore, Sunset Park is the ship’s new top-deck outdoor destination, featuring activities spanning yoga, lawn games, live music, and more.
The accompanying Sunset Park Café offers casual bistro dining for breakfast and lunch, while an expanded Sunset Bar has handcrafted cocktails.
The ship also has two new entertainment venues.
The first is Boulevard Lounge, a 125-seat venue, delivering all-day programming, from piano bar shows and karaoke to new game shows.
The second is the Parlor, a sports and gaming lounge, where guests can play billiards, darts and throwback board games or watch sports on the big screen.
As for the 2026 itineraries, the vessel is set to travel to Asia, Australia, and then Alaska in summer, followed by a Grand Voyage beginning September 13, 2026.
The 110-night sailing will call at over 55 unrepeated ports spanning Alaska, the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, concluding with a New Year’s Eve arrival in Hong Kong.
