Royal Caribbean International is making changes to its beverage packages, which will no longer include access to Coca-Cola Freestyle machines and a souvenir cup by default.
According to the company’s website, guests who purchase the Deluxe or Royal Refreshment packages will be able to use the product as an add-on starting on March 15, 2026.
Traditionally included in all of Royal Caribbean’s packages, the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines will be available for a $4.99 fee, which includes the souvenir cup and unlimited access to the machines.
The exception is the Classic Soda Package, which will still include both the souvenir cup and unlimited refills at the machines.
Royal Caribbean noted that the souvenir cup cannot be used for refills on future sailings and can be replaced for $4.99.
All packages will still include a selection of canned sodas, as well as fountain drinks served in lounges and restaurants.
Coca-Cola Freestyle machines are available on most of the company’s ships and offer a wide range of soft drinks, juices and flavored water choices.
The product is currently not available on the Spectrum of the Seas, the Brilliance of the Seas, the Serenade of the Seas and the Vision of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean’s Deluxe Beverage Package includes any single beverage item served onboard with a value of up to $14.
The selection features a series of alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices, such as beers, wines, cocktails, spirits, milkshakes and more.
The Royal Refreshment Package covers a wide choice of non-alcoholic beverages, from canned sodas to fresh-squeezed juices and frozen drinks.
Royal Caribbean’s beverage packages can be used both onboard and at the company’s private destinations in the Caribbean: Labadee and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
