The Celebrity Infinity welcomed guests back on Feb. 27, 2026, after spending nearly two weeks out of service in Greece.
Cruise Industry News, the vessel had a cruise cancelled earlier this month due to a technical issue.
According to a statement shared with guests currently onboard, the problem was solved by Celebrity’s technicians.
“Our team is preparing an unforgettable vacation experience for you, and we’re happy to confirm that your sailing will proceed as planned,” the company said in the letter shared a few days ahead of the cruise.
Sailing roundtrip from Piraeus, the ten-day itinerary features visits to a series of destinations in Greece and Turkey.
Before returning to the port near Greece’s capital city for an overnight call, the Infinity is scheduled to visit Thessaloniki, Kavala, Nafplion and Heraklion, as well as Kusadasi and Rhodes.
As part of its year-round deployment in Europe, the 2001-built ship is set to offer additional itineraries in the region during most of 2026.
The cruises sail to a wide range of destinations, including Hydra, Mykonos, Antalya, Santorini, Chania and Limassol.
The vessel continues to sail in the Eastern Mediterranean through November, when it is set to reposition to the Canary Islands for the winter.
Celebrity cancelled Infinity’s Feb. 16, 2026, cruise due to a technical issue that affected the vessel during its previous sailing.
At the time, the company said that its experts worked diligently to solve the problem, but additional time was necessary to complete necessary assessments and repairs.
Passengers were notified of the cancellation less than 24 hours before the departure on the evening of Feb. 15, 2026.
In addition to offering a full refund for any paid portion of the cruise, the company issued guests a Future Cruise Credit worth 100 percent of their cruise fare.
