The Disney Wonder recently returned to the West Coast for a series of cruises departing from its homeport in San Diego.
The Disney Cruise Line vessel arrived in Southern California in early March following a winter deployment in Australia and New Zealand.
Marking the company’s final season in the region, the ship spent the last five months sailing from ports including Sydney, Auckland and Brisbane.
After departing from Australia in early February, the Disney Wonder offered a three-leg repositioning voyage that included visits to destinations in the South Pacific, Hawaii, and Canada.
Now sailing from San Diego, the vessel is offering a series of three- to seven-night itineraries to destinations in Mexico and California.
The itineraries are highlighted by visits to Catalina Island, Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, as well as Puerto Vallarta.
For the first sailing of the season, the 1999-built ship is offering a four-night cruise that includes stops in Catalina Island and Ensenada.
The spring season on the West Coast runs through early May, when the Disney Wonder is set to reposition to Alaska for the summer.
Marking Disney’s expansion in the destination, the vessel will later be joined by the Disney Magic for itineraries departing from Vancouver’s Canada Place Cruise Terminal.
Disney Wonder’s regular seven-night itinerary for the season includes visits to Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan.
Following its season in Alaska, the 85,000-ton ship is scheduled to return to the West Coast for additional itineraries during the 2026-27 winter season. The vessel is also set to return to Alaska for another summer deployment next year.
One of Disney’s original cruise ships, the Wonder was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and completed 25 years of service in 2026.
The vessel is scheduled to undergo a 14-night drydock in September, which is expected to include routine maintenance and statutory work.
