The Carnival Dream recently arrived in Europe ahead of a scheduled drydock in the region.
The Carnival Cruise Line ship paused its regular operations in Galveston in mid-February, kicking off a repositioning voyage.
As part of Carnival’s SEA adults-only program, the 15-night cruise included a visit to King’s Wharf in Bermuda before crossing the Atlantic.
The sailing then featured visits to Gibraltar in the United Kingdom, in addition to two ports in Spain: Málaga and Alicante.
The cruise is set to end in Barcelona, where the 2009-built ship is scheduled to arrive on March 3, 2026.
Onboard experiences are aimed at casino players, with expanded gambling access, themed parties and bingo events, as well as other offerings geared toward adults.
Before welcoming guests back onboard, the Carnival Dream is set to undergo various work at a shipyard in Europe.
While additional details will be shared by Carnival at a later date, updates to public areas and staterooms are also expected to take place.
Following the drydock, the vessel will start its return to Galveston on March 21, 2026, sailing from Barcelona ahead of another trans-Atlantic crossing.
The 15-night repositioning voyage sails to destinations in Spain, the United Kingdom and the Bahamas before arriving in Texas on April 5, 2026.
Highlights of the itinerary include a visit to Carnival Cruise Line’s private island destination in Grand Bahama, Celebration Key.
From early April, the Carnival Dream resumes its regular schedule of sailings to the Western Caribbean and the Bahamas.
Sailing from Galveston every weekend, the six- to eight-night itineraries feature visits to a series of destinations in both regions.
Ports of call set to be visited include Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, as well as Nassau and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas.
