Carnival Cruise Line has presented Carnival Millions, an interactive lottery that links participating ships across its fleet.

Thanks to this, eligible guests get a chance to win up to $1 million through a daily, fleetwide draw.

According to a press release, Carnival Millions uses TimePlay’s interactive entertainment technology to connect players in real time, creating a shared onboard gaming experience that Carnival says has never been available at sea.

Through the Carnival HUB App, guests can purchase multiple tickets for any of the daily draws once they are onboard and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi.

Every day, all participating Carnival ships in North America and Europe join the same coordinated draw, which is done electronically, generating a winning number and several secondary prizes.

All winnings, from onboard credits to the potential $1 million jackpot, are then shown immediately within the app, with the jackpot or major prize winners being contacted directly by the ship’s Casino and Guest Services teams.
