Xiamen officially launched its 2026 cruise season on February 19 with the arrival of the Star Voyager.

The vessel docked at Xiamen International Cruise Terminal carrying over 2,200 passengers, marking the first major cruise call of the year and signaling a robust restart for post.

The ship had sailed from Hong Kong and local officials including port authority representatives and tourism executives, were on hand to welcome the ship via a ceremony in the cruise terminal in Xiamen.

Officials pointed out that the veseel’s arrival not only inaugurates Xiamen’s annual cruise calendar but also highlights the gradual recovery of international itineraries following recent market adjustments.

The Star Voyager is scheduled to operate a series of regional sailings to Xiamen throughout the spring, cruising from Hong Kong.
