TUI Cruises is on the lookout for a godmother for its new ship, the Mein Schiff Flow, which will be christened on June 20 in the port of Trieste.
Potential godmothers need to have traveled with the fleet at least once. Those that qualify and are of legal age can apply on the company’s website by submitting three photos, a personal text, and a video telling their Mein Schiff story.
“We have always had impressive personalities as godmothers for the ships in our fleet – from Helene Fischer, Franziska van Almsick, and Lena Meyer-Landrut to, of course, our dedicated crew members,” said Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises.
“With the Mein Schiff Flow, we are writing a new chapter: For the first time, a Mein Schiff fan will have the opportunity to take on this unique role.”
According to Meier, this is the company’s way of thanking its loyal guests by allowing one of them to participate in this experience.
Travel partners are also invited to inform their clients about this opportunity.
If the winner indicates that she has been informed by a travel agent about the application process, the agent will also receive an invitation to the christening.
The christening event will be part of an eight-day cruise from June 17 to 25 or alternatively from June 18 to 26, 2026. The cruiseswill be open for booking from February 26, 2026
The eight-day maiden voyage of Mein Schiff Flow from Trieste to Palma (Mallorca) will sail either June 17-25, 2026, or June 18-26, 2026.
The prices for the first option start from €2,049 per person in a balcony cabin and from €4,949 in a Junior Suite, and for the second from €2,019 per person in a balcony cabin and from €4,899 in a Junior Suite.
The itinerary is the same in both cases: Trieste – Koper – Trieste – Trieste – Day at Sea – Palermo – Day at Sea – Palma – Palma.
This will be the second newbuild of TUI’s InTUItion class, after her predecessor, the Mein Schiff Relax, kicked off its maiden season last spring.
