The 2026 Audubon Photography Awards are open for entries, giving photographers a chance to win a $5,000 cash award and a voyage to Antarctica with HX Expeditions.

Winners of the Grand Prize will have the opportunity to explore some of the most remote wildlife habitats on Earth in a voyage combining birding, conservation, and exploration, the National Audubon Society said in a statement.

Guests will also be able to participate in onboard citizen science initiatives and engage with HX’s Science Center, contributing to real-world research alongside expedition experts.

The 17th edition of the Audubon Photography Awards showcasing bird photography and videography aims to highlight how they connect people across geographies and ecosystems.

Submissions are open to residents of the United States, Canada, Chile, and Colombia through March 4, 2026, and photographers and videographers of all experience levels are encouraged to enter.
