Antarctica21 has launched “An Expedition to Planet Earth,” an original web series offering a look behind the scenes at an expedition to Antarctica.
The series follows the full journey south, inviting viewers to discover the company’s air-cruise experience starting in Punta Arenas, the Chilean gateway to Antarctica.
“An Expedition to Planet Earth is an invitation to pause and feel what makes Antarctica so extraordinary,” said Monica Randriamialy, marketing manager at Antarctica21.
“From the journey south to the rhythm of expedition days, this series brings people closer to the Antarctica21 experience characterized by the small-scale, low-impact journeys, and guided by the spirit of modern exploration.”
The six episodes give viewers a chance to see what it’s like to fly to Antarctica, and experience life onboard and expedition days in the field.
The series includes stories and perspectives from travelers and from the polar experts and is available on Antarctica21’s YouTube channel.
Episodes 1 and 2 launched on Feb. 12; episodes 3 and 4 will follow on Feb. 26, and the final two episodes are scheduled to air on March 12.
