Australis Cruises has announced a one-time-only extension of what is normally a four-night route into a seven-night expedition voyage sailing from Punta Arenas, Chile, to Ushuaia, Argentina.
Departing March 29, 2026, the cruise is set to give guests a longer, deeper experience of Patagonia’s fjords and channels.
“This extended sailing is a rare invitation to experience Patagonia with more time on the water and more time ashore,” noted Felipe Castro, director of Australis Cruises in North America.
“For active travelers who truly want to absorb the scale and impact of this region, this itinerary is one of a kind.”
Extended Patagonia expedition highlights include Carlos III Island, Cape Horn, Patagonian forests, glaciers and remote fjords, and additional Zodiac expeditions and landing sites.
This departure is being operated in partnership with a French tour operator, so availability is limited.
Australis said 30 cabins are available: 10 Category A cabins, 11 Category AA cabins, and nine Category AAA cabins, with double occupancy in a Category A cabin priced at $3,200 per person.
