Victory Cruise Lines is busy with upgrades on both the Victory I and Victory II ahead of their 2026 seasons.
Marine and technical teams are executing engine top-end servicing, mechanical overhauls, drydock work and annual regulatory inspections in partnership with the United States Coast Guard, according to the company website.
“There is a season in every ship’s year dedicated not to sailing, but to stewardship,” said David Kelley, chief operating officer at Victory Cruise Lines.
“For Victory I and Victory II, layup is that season, a deliberate pause that allows us to focus fully on the care, maintenance, and forward investment required of vessels entrusted with the journeys of so many guests.”
Onboard there is new upgraded lighting, new galley equipment to expand culinary capability and an enhanced sound experience within the Compass Lounge to enrich onboard programming.
Victory is also investing in crew areas with new flooring and refreshed bathroom fixtures.
“When we care exceptionally well for our crew, they in turn deliver the intuitive, gracious service our guests remember long after a voyage ends,” Kelley said.
“Layup is not simply a maintenance window; it is a reaffirmation of our standards and our responsibility as operators,” he added.
“When Victory I and Victory II return to service, they will do so not only refreshed, but resolute – prepared to deliver the kind of experience that inspires confidence the moment you step aboard.”
