Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will host dance performances by three choreographers linked to the Olympic and Paralympic Games onboard the Europa 2 in 2026-27, the company said in a statement.

Performances by Diego Tortelli and Italian modern dance company Aterballetto will be available to guests at two cruises.

The first is aboard a nine-day cruise from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Dubrovnik from August 16 to 25, 2026.

The second is an eight-day cruise from Palma de Mallorca to Lisbon from October 10 to 18, 2026.

Following his role as the Head of Choreography for the closing ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics, Tortelli is set to present a newly developed version of an existing work aboard the Europa2.

There is also a Civitavecchia (Rome) to Palma de Mallorca sailing from August 3 to 15, 2027 (12 days) hosted by Yoann Bourgeois.

As Head of Choreography for the Paralympic opening ceremony, Bourgeois is expected to bring his fusion of dance, movement, and contemporary circus as part of the “NOVECENTO – The Legend of the Ocean Pianist” show.

Finally, passengers on the 13-day cruise from Tenerife to Civitavecchia (Rome) from July 21 to August 3, 2027, will be able to attend a performance by Alexander Ekman.

Ekman, who was Head of Choreography for the 2024 Paralympic Games, is set to combine precision, humor, and emotional depth in his performance.
