American Cruise Lines has announced its “Celebrating 250 Years of America” campaign, honoring the country’s semi quincentennial on all 2026 sailings crossing 35 states from Alaska to Florida.
According to a statement, a commemorative 250th recognition will be featured on all ships, paired with special programming and guest experiences throughout the year.
The onboard programming will include a 250th-inspired game show, daily announcements of U.S. historical trivia, and red, white & blue-themed cocktail parties and desserts, including an American 250 signature cocktail menu featuring The Spirit of 1776.
Onshore, included excursions at every port-of-call will be available to guests, with a number of additional opportunities throughout the year.
On the 4th of July, celebrations on American’s cruises will include fireworks and other events.
Guests aboard the Line’s 52-Day Great United States Cruise will get a chance to witness the fireworks display over Boston Harbor, the site of the Boston Tea Party which ignited the American Revolution and ultimately led to the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
Furthermore, a branded 250th logo and badge have been created to mark the occasion.
Every ship from American Cruise’s fleet will bear the logo on the bow in 2026, with huge US flags draped over the side featured on embarkation days.
Additionally, celebratory badges will make part of the crew uniform, and the 250th campaign logos will appear on the website and across 2026 advertising and marketing.
The company has also created a line of collectible pins and other celebratory keepsake gifts available to guests sailing throughout 2026.
2026 is also the year when the cruise line is expected to welcome six additional ships scheduled to enter service for the brand through 2028.
